Loose motions/vomiting
We are foreigners traveling in Rajastan (in Pushkar today). My friend started to get nosea yesterday afternoon. He got diarrhea (loose motion) and vomiting all night. He is very weak now (morning) and still have diarrhea, headache (fever) and stomack pain (burning/ cramps). He have difficulties to drink or eat anything. He just got one banana and I'm trying to make him drink electrolytes. We got almost the same food till now (Indian classic deach). Looks like a stomack infection. How should we behave from now? Let him rest and see? Hospital?

Hello There. I can understand your concern. He should definitely avoid oily and spicy foods, drink plenty of water and preferably packaged mineral water. giving him electrolytes is also a good thing that you are doing. you can give him tab. Grandem MD to be chewed once a day for vomitings, If his condition doesn't improve, then consult a doctor in person at a hospital near you. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
