Loose motions in 1 yr old
My son is having loose motions with stinky smell, yellow colour from past 3 days. I gave him nutrolin-B syrup.He is 1 year old.

give your child zinc 5ml od for 14 days....ecobion bc bd for 3 days...ors..if child not passed urine or having bloody stool,look dull...consult to doctor

Loose motion in this age group is generally viral. Apart from nutrolin-B , give him Syrup Zinc (Zinconia) 5ml (20 mg) once in a day for 14 days, Give ORS.
Diet - Continue breastfeed. Rice water and Curd will redure frequency of stools. Avoid Fruit juices and high sugar syrups/chocolates
Look for - Urine should be atleast 5-6 times in a day.
Next Steps
Visit Local Pediatrician if your child is irritable, drowsy, having large volume stools, blood in stools, persistent vomiting or looks dehydrated.
