Looking for second opinion
It's been one month I had my pre molar extraction for braces purpose. Till date the wound didn't heel. I have little pain and discomfort in gums and adjacent teeths of extraction. My  consulting doctor says as it was a curved tooth wound is severe and take three more weeks to heel. Is it normal or some thing to worry about. x-ray had been taken after teeth extraction. Hello Mam, it can be because of the reason which you have mentioned but the persistent wound is termed as dry socket where the healing will be compromised due to many reasons like improper maintainance of oralhygine or any personal Hapbits or might be of vitamin deficiency, check for this. Use lukewarm water for gargling. But it will take time to heal so you don't have to worry about it. X-ray seems to be fine.

Root must have been really curved as I can see the curvature in the radiograph...some wounds do take time to heal and vary from patient to patient...don’t worry...it will definately heal gradually
