Long term cold
Hi Doctor, My daughter is suffering from cold for about more than 3 months. We have consulted pediatrician for about 3 times. Though she has been given some medication ( syrups) later Doctor suggested to discontinue as she doesn't have any congestion. And it is not to worry as much. We worry as still she has been continued to suffer from cold. Will long term cold to any health issues? And should we follow any medication ? What could be possible reasons?

She seems to be suffering from allergic rhinitis which requires long term treatment with anti Histamine medicines and sometimes steroid nasal sprays. She may need to use them for atleast 6 month to a year. Confirmation of diagnosis is necessary before starting treatment
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
