Lockdown affected night vision?
I've been confined to home for six months due to the lockdown. I realized after going out yesterday in the night that white LED lights are glaring. It seems quite unnatural. In the mornings, there seems to be no issues. Vehicle headlights aren't glaring but these white LED lights (the ones which are at a significant distance from the eye ) are glaring a bit. Also, as I'm using my computer screen for a good deal of the day, my eyes are straining too much. There is some irritation and I have to keep washing them out. Sometimes, I wake up with watery eyes. I have since then limited screen time to a minimum. Can you please identify what's wrong with my vision? Please help! I'm desperately worried.

Hi.. If the eye is irritable sue to dryness, allergy, toi much screen time...then you can get little glare...but there could be other reasons as well, we will have to check the eye to find out . You can try to decrease screen time and use lubricating drops 3/4 times to see if there is any improvement in that. Dont wash too much..you can rather put systane ultra eye drops ..when u feel irritation. Sleep quality also has to be good.

Ma'am the issue can be because of dryness of eyes or allergy. Few instructions: 1. Follow 20-20 rule. After every 20 minutes of any near work say laptops, mobile or reading take a break and focus for 20 seconds at a far away object at least 20 meters away. 2. Frequently blink your eyes while working, if not possible to remind yourself to blink then at least after 30 minutes of your work slowly close your eyes 10 times. 3. Adequate water intake at least 3-4 litres per day 4. Adequate sleep at least for 7-8 hours 5. Do not rub the eye 6. Use anti reflective coated glasses if you have spectacles 7. Cold compress to the eyes 3 times a day (Can dip clean cotton in refrigerator cold water and keep over closed eyes for 30 seconds)
Next Steps
Start with Eyedrops Refresh Liquigel 1 drop 4 times a day for both eyes for 30 days and Eyedrops Ocurest AH 1 drop 3 times a day for both eyes for 2 weeks.
Health Tips
