LIVER swelling
Hello all.. My blood report shows SGOT 67..any serious alarming sound. ?? Pls suggest me what to do.. I have earlier posted a question for dry cough from last 1 month. .and doc advised me xray and blood test . every thing came normal except SGOT value elevated to 67.. I work in merchant navy...if this doesn't get cured..i will loose my job..i shud be medically fit evry time when i go on ship.. Pls help me when your kind advices pls.. I fear for life and job.. Someone said there's swelling in liver bcz of which the value is 67.. :-(

Hello please take liver protectants as other parameters are normal it is not much of concern bye

Do not worry It can be due to fatty liver also Kindly take a combination of ursodeoxycholic acid and silymarin

Please answer the following questions. Do you have any History of  1. Alcohol use . 2. Weight Gain ( obesity ). 3. Junk Food. 4. Oily, Fried Food . 5. Dyslipidemia ( high cholesterol etc ). 6. Hyperglycemia ( high sugar etc). 7. Eating out mostly . 8. Drugs ( certain medicines ).

Absolutely nothing to worry about sgot 67.. You dont even need medications. Avoid alcohol and decrese oil in food..that will be enough
