Liver swelling and obstretric cholestasi
Hi Dr, I am 33 week pregnant and at around 24 weeks my sgot and sgpt enzymes were abnormal (4 times then desired range). My gynec given udiliv 300 three times a day and also asked to do serum bile acid.. I did fasting serum bile 2 months ago and it was high as 38. Recently I repeated the lft and they are normal now in the range of 10 but bile acid was 12. Did ultrasound and it shows some swelling on liver. My complete blood reports are attached. Could you please check and suggest if this is a case of obstetrics cholestasis or any other liver disease. Also can there be swelling on liver during cholestasis ? Thanks in advance 🙏🙏

Yes it should be cholestasis but u should be in consultation with your treating onstretician . It will be normal after child birth but now needs treatment
