Liver problem

Asked for Female, 45 Years

I just got LFT test which result AST (sgot) 174 u/l , ALT (sgpt) 296 u/l , GGTP 46 u/l. Rest LFT results are normal. Pl suggest what treatment I should take and what may be the reasons of these result. Pl also suggest a normal physician will do or I should consult a liver Specialist.

this test suggest that u have hepatitis or simply inflammation of liver. the reason can be virus, drugs, toxin or fat. consult a gastroenterologist or Hematologist for further workup soon. all the best
