Little bright light like spot in Vision
Hello doctor, my mother is noticing a small bright light like spot in her vision since last 6 months. We also consulted 2 doctors, they suggested some eye drop and said its normal in this age and it will go away itself in 2,3 months.. But it has been 6 months now.. And the bright spot in vision only (not visible on retina) is still there and in same size not increasing or decreasing.
Kindly suggest what to do next please

if it is persistent, it is not be ause of PVD or floater, which absorbs or goes down with time.
could be a functional lesion,
Next Steps
please get thorough neurology and Neuroophthalmology evaluation done. I would suggest a carotid Doppler

any associated symptoms to be looked for like headache, giddiness, TIA, etc
