Lion date syrup to 1.2 years

Asked for Female, 33 Years

Hi Doctor, My baby is 1.2 years old and she not at all drinks whole milk.. I tried all possible ways.. diluted, bottle, spoon, glass, sippy cups etc. Can I add lion date syrup of 1 spoon in milk and give her? Also can if she rejects that too can I add sugar free cocoa powder?. Pls suggest.

I don't know what is lion date syrup. What I know is that you should be happy that the baby is rejecting milk. A bigger problem is the baby being dependant only on milk. You can give milk products like paneer, cheese, curd if the baby is not accepting milk. Total milk requirement is not more than 200 ml per day for a 1.2 year old.
