Line going vertically down finger nail.

Asked for Male, 20 Years

For the past couple months or so I've noticed a thin vertical line running down the middle of my thumb nail. I've trimmed my nails over time and the line is still there. It's very thin. What could this be? I'm 20 years old if that helps.
