Line going vertically down finger nail.
For the past couple months or so I've noticed a thin vertical line running down the middle of my thumb nail. I've trimmed my nails over time and the line is still there. It's very thin. What could this be? I'm 20 years old if that helps.

Hello...  The description u have given highly suggests the diagnosis of melanonychia..  Where There'll be abnormal deposition if melanin pigment in the skin below the nail...  It's usually being and doesn't require any intervention unless aesthetically demanding..  U can consult an appropriate doctor for advice,  diagnosis and removal if required..
