Light fever with coughing
Dear Doctor, i am suffering with bad cough that came with fever last month near about same date as of today. The fever lasted two days and now has again come back today. Although it didn't even once crossed 101 •F. The body aches and the head is full of pain from coughing. I also smoke few cigarettes a day which i am working on to quit asap. I have taken one citrizen in the noon and one paracetamol in evening. But at still back home the fever came. Also please suggest some food as i am not willing to eat anything. So any fruit or soup or something that i can quickly get on with and sleep. *ps- is it normal fever or something scary?

Hello, I went through your query, please continue paracetamol 650mg three times a day after food, tab. Cetrizine 10mg two times a day after food, avoid cold food and drinks, drink hot coffee or tea, keep yourself well hydrated, if fever continues even after doing these you may have to take antibiotics, then please consult physician...
