Letrozole 2.5 mg is safe
Hi, We are planning for baby from last 4 month but unable to concieve.So I consulted a doctor and the doctor tested full hormone tests, CBC but all the reports are normal and found my husband sperm analysis is bit low i. e 29 million. Doctor advised fertility pill for my husband and myocieve for me. And doctor said to take letrozole 2.5mg for 5 days. Is this medicine is safe for me? Because my all reports are normal. Somewhere i hear also that this medicine is used for treating breast cancer and also is banned for some years. Kindly help me out.

Yes you are correct but now a days for ovulation induction it is used safely.Letrozole 2.5mg is small dose.Start treatment and go for follicular study and then take injection for rupture of egg when eggs are matured.
