My 78 year old mother has leg pain in standing that improves with rest. She is on cholesterol lowering medications and supplements like vitamin d and b12. . The leg pain is severe. She has no pain when she walks, only on standing

Leg pain that starts on standing/walking and improves with rest is most classically due to intermittent claudication.its very commonly occure in case of diabetes, dyslipidemia and smoking .manage her sugar level normal and lipid profile test done routinely, also go fir b12 test.
