Without swelling subsiding and you obtaining knee range of movement surgery is going yo be difficult..but once those two are achieved..you will need a surgery..or else you will have recurrent problems.. Presently keep the leg elevated, apply cold pack and wait for swelling to settled down..

You might not be able to fold your knee for the time being. Arthroscopy can be done early or after 3 weeks when the edema subsides. Try not to walk over injured knee. Keep knee straight. Apply ice packs locally over knee. Medications like enzomac forte will help to reduce edema.
