Leftside middle back near shoulder jaint

Asked for Female, 26 Years

My wife age 26 yrs. Left side middle back pain near the shoulder area. So much pain she could not sleep and difficult to breath. Though Doctor given some painkiller & advised to test Sugar, TSH & X-ray. Please give me proper advice.
