My left vocal cord was paralysed during the vagal schwanomma surgery on the left side of neck. I had a benign tumor of 2×2 cm which was removed in March 2017 by vascular surgeon and vagus nerve was sacrificed/cut for removing the tumor.
I can't speak when I move my head to the left side but right side is bit normal for me to speak but that too is not 100% ok. I just have 50-60 % voice to the right side.
Since its very difficult to make people understand with my low voice, what can be done now to make my voice next to normal? Can vagus nerve be retained and my voice as well?
