Left PUJ obstruction
My 11 month old child has been diagnosed with left PUJ obstruction and mild hyderonephrosis His split renal function is 62: 38 and doctor has advised for surgery Please let know if post surgery his kidney function will reach normal limits and is surgery the only option left ?

Yes kidney function can come to normal and surgery depends upon the grade of puj obstruction show him to Pediatric nephrologist first he will decide for that
