Please don't be in panic. It is very normal for a young lady of your age to have a pain in or around the chest region or breasts, around the days of menstruation, due to hormonal action. It can also be due to gastritis or muscle pain as the doctors said previously. Not all chest pain are of cardiac origin.

Ayurveda physicians see the individuals as 5 elements of nature. This is the basic concept of Ayurveda. When you complaint of pain it is due to the wind element which the doctor explained you as gas. The word of gas makes you think of digestion related complaints. Hence your confused. Wind as a body element can be trapped in the muscles causing pain. Feel free to contact me if the explanation is not clear.
