Left Atrial Enlargement
Are there any limitations in the maximum LA enlargement size. Can LAE be reversed? This is with regards to a patient with persistent atrial fibrillation.

Hello.... Based on underlying cause I can say something... Left atrial enlargement occurs in volume overload due to mitral stenosis or atrial myxoma , treating underlying cause is very important... Echo, ecg, and other test are required to know underlying cause.... Consult cardiologist....
