Lasik surgery
I want to undergo LASIK surgery to remove spectacles. My spectacles power is -3.75. I am an IT professional. I wanted to know after how many days can i start working on computer after surgery. Also I wanted to know, can a person start reading text books next day after surgery or does it some days..?

hello you may start using computer 3-4 days after lasik surgery

26 yrs IT professionals,, you might heard  about computer vision syndrome(CVS) most of IT professionals are suffering& still you have not  faced then you will face in coming days.Most  common   complications after retractive surgery eg LASIK or Smile is dryness(CVS).you are already 26 yrs of age & using 3.75 D both eyes, of course Your Will go without glasses  for another 14 yrs if you go for  lasik but again at 40 yrs you will need reading glasses if you go for LASIK & if you bear   with glasses for these 14yrs ,you will never need glasses for reading after 40 yrs in life.All that glitters is not gold.Dr Arjun Kumar Singh  Patna

Hello...I understand your problem, I think you should know that LASIK is nowadays performed most commonly for the treatment of short-sighted and long-sighted vision problems, it serves as a good alternative for people dependant on spectacles and contact lenses....Many patients also experience improved vision immediately following LASIK...you may resume your work within 25 days...Consult your opthalmologist they will do the needful.
