Before any decision, get central corneal thickness test done. I do it freely. The corneal thickness must be above a threshold, 》than 510 microns. If possible get corneal topography to rule out other corneal diseases, like keratoconus.
If you can not afford, these tests at your place, ask your ophthalmologist or optician to record keratometric readings.
They give an idea about keratoconus and other corneal disorders which warn us not to get lasik. If your keratometric readings are more than 48 D, be more careful.
It costs anywhere between 40,000 to 50000 rupees, dependsl on where you live.
I have heard thatsome aggressive centers tied up with Bajaj financial services and offer EMI, as decided by finananciar.
Health Tips
Be sure what for you want LASIK. COSMETIC, marriage purpose, job or professional need. Be prepared for some disappointment, though rarely. After all an operation is an operation.

You seem to be an eligible candidate for Lasik. Costs vary widely between centres depending on whether a businessman or a Doctor has invested in the equipment; how soon he wishes to pay off his loans for the purchase; the other overheads like lease or rent on the premises; cost of consumables; the doctor’s estimate of his professional competence etc.
To reduce the variables, I do not own a Lasik machine but take my patients to the best machine in town and pay a fixed amount to the centre for permitting me to use the machine. That way my patient always gets to use the best machine and I do not have to sell a machine and buy a new one every couple of years as new technology comes in. I have been doing this for over 2 decades.
It is best you discuss with your eye doctor .
