LASIK ENHANCEMENT - Honest advice needed
Had my lasik done for right eye 6 years ago (power then was -1.75D). I have amblyopia in left eye. I got checkup done for lasik enhancement 2 days ago. Currently i have -1.5D in right eye. Left eye is -13D (though i can't really see anything useful from it). All is ok with dilation checkup in both eyes. Corneal thickness = 490 microns. Should i get lasik enhancement done considering my situation of amblyopia & risk of epithilial growth/ectasia etc.??

Though it is possible but I will advice you not to go for it considering the facts of reoccurance, uniocular and comparatively higher risk. So better be satisfied with  what you have.

Your age? If you are in 35 and above better continue with Glasses. You are one eyed. So don't take risk just for cosmetic reason. No redo advisable.

What is your age? Was the no. not stable, otherwise you should not have 1.5 D now. Enhancement can be done by lifting old flap since no. is small and you have adequate thickness.
