My sister in law has minus 9 no.in her spectacles since 3 months.
She had contacted a doctor before 3 years and they told that lasic operation is done and spectacles will be removed.
Today we had contacted in eye hospital
They told that no.is quite high so lasic operation is dangerous in her case.
Retina test we had done, they also told that no.is quite high.
So before 3 years how can doctor say that Lasic operation will be successful?

There are many modalities available for refractive surgery and LASIK may not be suitable for all. She needs to undergo Corneal Topography to look for possibility of put a phakic IOL in her eye. A complete evaluation always helps in coming to a conclusion for a safe and suitable procedure.
