Laryngitis culture
Hi! My ENT doctor has prescribed antibiotics for laryngitis. But I want to be absolutely sure before taking them. So, what are some of the tests that can confirm if it really is bacterial infection or viral or fungal? How is swab/culture done? Is it enough? Thanks

Laryngitis usually it's viral, avoid cold fluids, excessive talking and taking painkillers excessively Take steam inhalation, antibiotics required if you have fever or elevated WBC count For viral it's symptomatic treatment required
