Lantus dose
My son is suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus. Today he is starting vomiting by before bed dose of insulin (lantus). He washed his stomach completely. So tell me can I give bed dose to him booze he refused to take anything inside the body by mouth

Yes Lantus is long acting insulin.it will provide basal insulin coverage..But Monitor his sugar levels and if more than 300 mg/ek check urine ketone by strip.
