Lack of sleep
I find it very difficult to sleep no matter how exhausted I am and my mind keeps on drifting to sad thoughts and over analysing things.

Hi, as you have mentioned the lack of sleep is due to excessive negative thoughts. Since when has this been happening? If its been too long then you should visit a psychiatrist to regularize your sleep pattern and also help curb your negative thoughts. However, along with medications you should definitely visit a counselor as you need to share and vent your feelings as that can also help you feel better. If this problem hasn't been occurring since long then you go ahead with a few sessions and not resort to medicines immediately.
