Lack of Clarity in Life
I am a 26 years have an average earnings which i do feel low but i am happy with it as of now. My family is not happy with it and they also insist me to focus on my career and settle down. But things are not going in a way which i wanted to be. After B.com i wasted my 1 year in deciding which course i should take. But even after taking the course, completed my mandotory 3 years training and when it comes to the exams i am not getting ready for it and here also i have my precious 2 years. All in all i have wasted 3 precious years of my life, i do feel guilt about that. The point is i have lots of dreams and i am like i want to achieve it, but many ongoing background thoughts like ageing, family, society pressure and my career all things hits up and i am getting continous taunts from my family memebers all things are disturbing me alot. I am not yet settled with the career and nor i have a clear vision for my life and i am helpless and disturbed at this point of my life.

Hi, Instead of thinking what others want from me,you need to think about what.. you want for yourself. You are only 26 yr old. There are still time for achieving success.Do not waste your time thinking about the past .You need to take responsibility for your own decisions. You cannot change the behaviour of other people. You can consult with a career counselor.

It seems like you are overwhelmed with everything that is not happening. When you have a plan and it turns out that the pan isn't going as it's supposed to, it can become overwhelming, stressful and may in turn cause anxiety. The guilt adds on to the anxiety and thus becomes a cycle of feeling down and disturbed.
Next Steps
I suggest trying out therapy to try and re-order your plan and decide on a different narrative regarding your situation.. Therapy will also help in reducing anxiety and maybe finding the motivation towards starting to achieve your dreams./
Health Tips
Try to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with. it's completely okay if you do not feel okay with the first therapist you find. The whole process will become easier if you are comfortable with the person you decide to speak. Best Wishes.

Hello, It is understandably not a great space to be in feeling pressurized about your future prospects. You have dreams that you want to achieve and the capability to do so. Look at life as whole, you are not just defined by career or your age.You are a complete being. To create your tomorrow, focus on actions and start with small achievable targets in that direction. Slow and sure steps will progress towards success and do not worry about the chatter, success always has changed the narrative around. All the best! Connect for further consultation. Decision-making and sticking to the decisions taken, keeping in mind the balancing of the risks involved in them and the returns (benefits) the taken decision can offer are significant in life, both in the short and the long terms. This important skill of decision-making (and problem-solving through that) comes naturally in most people. Problem-solving involves prioritisation too. The childhood family environment usually plays a role in the development of these skills. I wrote the above to make you aware of the importance of things like decision-making, problem-solving, prioritisation etc. in career and life planning (which also includes education planning). When you manage to improve these skills in you, it is very likely that you will stop worrying about the role others (however close they may be) tend to play in your life-decisions. I seem to get a feeling that towards organising your career and life, you will need some guidance, especially at the current stage. That warrants your approaching a psychologist.
Next Steps
Please consult a psychologist.
