Knee joint effusion
How long it takes to cure completely from knee joint effusion caused by infection. Its been 2.5 months and even after medication still not recovered completely. Though the swelling has gone but still there is tension in knee area.

Need evaluation.consult orthopaedic surgeon. Antibiotics , Jones bandage would help Usually takes 6-12 weeks

It depend on which type of infection and what treatment have been given and progression of recovery.. It usually take 2-3 months
