Kindly say what to do
Sir / mam , i had inguinal hernia repair ( open surgery ) . But now after 18 months on the stitches there is swollen half the region of stiches... Kindly pls say ..

After 18 months it’s very unlikely that it is any infection. Is there any pain ? Or any watery fluid from the site ? To confirm you can get an ultrasound of the area. But for all this a clinical examination of the site is needed. Please visit your Surgen. Or any other general Surgen in your area. It is mostly nothing. But a doctor has to palpate(feel) the area to confirm.
