Kids having cold and cough with mucus
Hello Doctor, my kids suffering from cold and cough with Mucus. Daughter 6 years old and son 11 months old.
We are giving steam to kids. Not sure if any cough syrup may work, please suggest

Most commonly cold is due to viral infection .
Which may go by its own .
You may continue with steam ,keep the babies hydrated.
Symptomatic relief can be given by some medication
