Kidney issue after ARF
My mother had an attack of AF which resulted in ARF 5 days back. Since then the urine output is extremely low and she had gone through 4 dialysis. Her BP was low but now is normal, though AF seems to be persistent. What are the chances of her kidneys reverting back ? She never had any renal issues in the past. Also please suggest any further line of treatment.

Hello.... Acute renal failure is reversible but long standing renal failure could lead to irreversible permanent kidney damage..... So only treating doctor can asses the chance of reversibility based on her vitals and present condition...... Let her recover as soon as possible.. Sooner the recovery better the prognosis.
