Kidney failure
48 yrs old male pt having Creatinine 4 since one yr and taking Ayurvedic medication, it has drop down to 3 and gain increased to 4.pt is known diabetic and hypertensive since 10 yrs. Can we control by conservative medication or do we need dialysis?

If creatine remains stable ,no need for dialysis,rising trend will require dialysis. Very good control of diabetes and blood pressure to be observed. May require calcium supplementation along with vit D3. If hemoglobin drops haemopoietic drugs along with erythropoietin to be supplented. High protein diet to be avoided and any infection to be rigourously treated. Eventually a progressive disease but progression can be slowed down by these measures.
