Kid having Diahrea
6 year old daughter is having severe diarrhea. Today is 4th day. Passing loose stools 4-5 times and vomiting 4-5 times since then. Giving bacillus clausi 2B 5 ml twice , zn20 syrup 5 ml twice but no relief. She is having coconut water twice, normal water, roohawza etc and is not dehydrated. What to do? Should I wait for 2-3 days more or start antibiotics?

Loose stool might take sometime to stop completely. If child is very sick, febrile, abdominal pain then antibiotics should be considered

Loose stools usually take time to subside. Antibiotics only if the child is having continuous fever/severe abdominal pain/blood in stools.
Next Steps
Keep the child hydrated by giving ORS, water, coconut water etc.
