Keloids are basically abnormal scars. There are number of ways like intralesional steroid injections or laser etc that can help reduce the keloid or improve the appearance. What treatment will work for you depends on where and how big the keloid is. What you need to know is 1. It can be treated but It is difficult to guarantee if it will disappear. But it does reduce. 2. Keloid formation is your skins tendency. So even if you treat this condition doesn't mean that new keloids will not appear.
