Joint pain in pregnancy

Asked for Female, 30 Years

I am 20 weeks pregnant (second pregnancy) and have sudden joint pain in my index finger. I am not able to bend it and it is paining immensely( throbbing pain with stiffness), along with swelling. I have not hurt myself anywhere...is it because of pregnancy?
