Creams like clotrimazole are available in most stores as.antifungal creams.. Do not use a combination as it will also contain a steroid to give faster relief from itching. If you purchase a steroid containing cream do not use it for more than a week. Switch to a plain antifungal. Higher antifungals are more effective. Sertaconazole is a good option. O would suggest you get your self examined by a dermatologist near you in case you need to be put on antifungal tablets. Plain antifungal cream should be used for atleast 2 weeks after the infection visibly subsides. I cannot recommend or prescribe any particular cream on this forum as I will need to examine you first. I hope the above information answers your doubts. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
