I m taking essential l from 4 week in jaundice. Now my billirunin is 2.3 . I have stopped my medicine. Do i continue essential l or stop. I sudden feeling abdomial pain in right side. 1 sec pain then suddenly it stops.

Hai, Bilirubin 2.3 is not normal.need to know your previous bilirubin status, why did you start essential L . Basically you need further evaluation if pain persist to look for or to rule out other causes for pain abdomen

Any jaundice needs proper and thorough h/o taking, examination and evaluation with lft and usg if you have tested you lft than please share the biochemical parameters and usg please.

You can stop the medication,but repeat LFT after 6 weeks, bilirubin should come below 2
