Total billirubin count on 33rd day is 9.1. (conj-0.7 and uncon 8.4)When he was 8 days days old, the total was 18. We kept him under sunlight for few minutes. It has now reduced to 9.1. Does he meed any therapy immediately. Or it will go by itself.

Hi ... Usually the bilirubin levels come down to less than 2 by 1 month after birth...we need to see the baby and do some blood tests to know why his bilirubin is still high ...if he otherwise alright then you can repeat bilirubin after 1 week and decide to see a nearby Pediatrician or Neonatologist..
