Jaundice and red thing in poop
Hello Sir/Ma'am
My baby is just 17days old and is having jaundice from yesterday onwards i have been noticing some red sticky material in his poop what could it be. I am quite worried and my baby poops every time takes feed. I give him my feed always but only at night one bottle of formula milk(aptamil) as well

Jaundice on 17th day of life is called as, Extended physiological Jaundice. There are multiple causes for this and you need to consult paediatrician in person as soon as possible.

17 days jaundice could be prolonged jaundice due to ' N ' number reason.. Detailed examination and blood test would be required. Do take a visit consultation immediately with nearby pediatrician / neonatologist.
