Itchy, small spots after shower or bath

Asked for Female, 17 Years

After i have a bath or shower (especially with hot water) i break out in these small, mosquito bite like spots. they have red skin surrounding them and are quite itchy. they appear in groups of two to three and clear up in about 20-40 minutes depending if ive scratched at them. my mum seems to think that she has got something like that but ive had it for a lot longer, at least 4 months. what are they and how do i stop/prevent them?
