Itchy rash in skin folds

I trimmed the pubic hair two weeks ago and a rash has developed with slightly blackish skin in the groin skin fold. The boundary of rash is having red bumps which are small. I also have other red bumps on my legs. The rash is itchy and if scratched, scaly white skin peels of. I have trimmed pubic hair before but this is happening first time.
