Itching under penis head skin

Asked for Male, 35 Years

I have itching under penis head skin. While bathing I wash it clean and sometimes I can see white smegma. In worse time I can see a reddish ring under penis head skin. This is I am suffering from last 1 & half year. During this period I have visited 2 doctors and taken prescribed antibiotics and applied creams. But it's not giving result and itching get developed within 15 days after medication. Is circumcision good option to get rid of this permanently? Please suggest

You may be suffering from candidial balanoposthitis which is fungal infection of the foreskin and glans penis. It present as itching, red spots on glans, swelling and cracks on foreskin and inability to retract it.
