Itching in whole body

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I was suffering from viral fever for last two day. As yesterday morning I found it little better I took a bath. 10 min after taking bath suddenly I felt that my whole body start to itch except on my face and also there was red rashes. So I rushed to nearest chemist shop they provided me critizen, after having it I got relief for most of the time but now once again my whole body started itching. What should I do

Plese don't take treatment for lay person like chemist. You are probably suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be symptomatically treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months.
