Itching in underarms and pubic hair area
I got itching in underarms and pubic hair areas.consulted to a skin specialist and she prescribed med for fox Fordyce for one month and said to visit again.after having med all became normal and I visited again and she prescribed same med in low dose.its just 4days having low dose med but problem getting started.what should I do??is fox Fordyce cureable by medicine or it need surgery?

Fox Fordyce disease is an apocrine milliaria and treatment is always symptomatic. It responds well to topical steroid topical calcineurine inhibitors topical clindamycin topical retinoids and oral antibiotics. When it doesn't respond to topical it's better to opt for excision.
