Itching in left eyes
The left eye of my starts itching suddenly while she was having lunch. Initially there was only redness. But after a day it's starts paining and little swelling has also occured. Initially Ciplox-D was given, but after pain Moxifloxacin was recommended by a physician, but no relief. The itching also appears to be spreading to right eye. Since being a Sunday, the eye specialist clinic was closed, kindly suggest any precautions to be taken till tomorrow morning.

It could be due to allergy or infection or both.but pain seems to be due to rubbing the eyes. Please do cold compresses and put antibiotics eye drops 2hrly e.g. moxifloxacin and antiallergic e.g. olopatadine 2to3 times daily. May take tab Alerid 10 at bed time.
