Itching in Jaundice
I am suffering from jaundice from last7-8 days. The LFT reports says increase in bilirubin levels to 9.21. Also having itching thats gets worse at night. Doctor have prescribed me Hepakind 300 and montex lc but there is no improvement in itching. Abdomen ultrasound is normal. Please help me with the itchg

You will need more evaluation to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis. With this level of bilirubin and your symptoms, less likely that USG missed to find an extra-hepatic cause. And even if that is true that the USG is normal, (no stones in bile duct) Hepakind and Montec are not going to give you any solution. If possible, provide a detailed history of any medicines taken recently, viral infections, similar past illness, full LFT and GGT.
