Itching in armpits since 2 months
I hv had itching (not whole day), sometimes bit of burning sensation but not bothersome, earlier there were 2 to 3 lumps under left armpit whch went away with a physician's treatment ... the problems persisted for a mth & more and then it was fine ...but again since last 3 days the itching has re-started...

I think the condition is Hidradenitis suppurativa from the description provided. A proper assessment to determine the severity of Hidradenitis suppurativa is needed. It can be confused with some common skin conditions like boils or acne and hence a diagnosis is importane. Treatment is based on severity score and can be decided during a consultation. Most of the patients do well if they stick to the recommendations. Kindly see a dermatologist for a treatment plan.
