Itching continue despite complete treat
I was diagnosed with scabies 2 months ago, was treated with permethrin lotion , had to use it for 4-5 times. But till date i feel as if something is pinching me or someone is pricking me with the pin. i have tried almost everything and been treated with oral ivermectin too but i still feel itchy all over the body without any single rash in the body . AND RECENTLY i have noticed that my hairs of my arm and legs are broken from the shaft AND THIS HAPPENED IN these 2-3weeks. It looks very weird in apperance and it's irritating as well i cant even sleep peacefully due to this weird pin prick sensation . please help me with genuine advice. Thanks

There is a possibility that you are suffering from the side effects of permethrin. If you are still using it. I recommend you review with your dermatologist and change the drug or if the scabies is gone .. ask to stop the medicine all together. Try pregabalin or gabapentin for now! But it will take a week or so to take effect!
