you might be having allergic conjuntivitis. please don't rub. do cold compresses. put antallergic eye drops 2to3 times daily e.g. olopatadine and lubricant eye drops 2to3 times daily and rub ocupol d eye oint twice daily on lids.

The more you itch, the more red it will become. Put lubricating eye drops often and do ice compresses twice a day. If no improvement see an eye doctor. Maskatieyeclinic opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai
